Ambassador Training

To help Chinese seniors understand the systemic and covert nature of racial discrimination and its impact on everyone, learn how to respond to discrimination, and empower themselves to speak out, we have organized the "WE CARE Anti-Discrimination Community Ambassador" program.

With the support of CARE, the Chinese Seniors' Health and Ageing Research and Education Centre, ambassadors will undergo 13 hours of training from experts in the fields of social sciences, psychology, social work, and community leaders who advocate for equality.

Through this program, ambassadors will :

CONNECT with people of different ages and backgrounds in a supportive and equal community to learn, reflect, grow, and take action against racial discrimination.

PROMOTE anti-racism ideas in the community (including online) and conduct standardized lectures and other promotional activities based on the procedures learned in the training.

ADVOCATE for research and projects that oppose discrimination, and courageously speak out against racial discrimination, uniting the community to actively advocate for the establishment of a fair and harmonious society.

After the training, the ambassadors will be supported by CARE--Chinese Elderly Research and Education Center:
