Chinese Seniors' Digital Storytelling for Inclusion and Well-being 

Chinese Age-well Research and Education (CARE) will partner with Chinese senior organizations, Chinese youth organizations, scholars, service providers and policy-makers to achieve our goals

The objectives of this project are:

Connectedness and Community Building

• Create a sense of connectedness among Chinese older adults.

• Facilitate intergenerational dialogues and foster peer support networks

Healthy Aging and Well-being

• Promote healthy aging practices for enhanced brain health and emotional well-being.

• Stimulate mental agility and emotional resilience through reminiscence therapy.

Productive Aging and Knowledge Transfer

• Empower older adults by facilitating the transfer and co-creation of cultural knowledge.

• Provide lifelong learning opportunities in digital technology for enhanced skills.

The anticipated result of this project are:

1: A Community of Practice

• Form a dynamic community through group writing and sharing personal stories.

• Facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and wisdom.

2: Audio and Visual Podcasts

• Create a collection of podcasts showcasing Chinese older adults' life stories and cultural heritage.

• Serve as a valuable cultural archive and educational tool.

3: A Collection of Stories

• Develop a comprehensive collection reflecting the diverse experiences of Chinese older adults.

• Celebrate the richness of their lives and contributions to the community.
