Intergenerational and inter-cultural dialogue to fight racism: A focus on education and awareness of older Chinese immigrants in Canada.

 

Objectives:

(a) strengthen the understanding of systemic racism, and how it intersects with ageism and creates unique barriers to Asian seniors, 

(b) develop culturally responsive strategies to fight anti-Asian racism,

(c) support people who have experienced discrimination and mitigate its negative impacts, and 

(d) develop a strong age-friendly and multicultural community that is inclusive to people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.
